São Filipe, April 26 (Inforpress) – The 15 horses registered for the first phase of horse races during the festivities of the Day of the Municipality of São Filipe were grouped into six series, and only the first-place horse from each series qualifies for the final stage.
The horses were divided into three series of two horses each and three series with three horses each, and according to one of the owners, the first and sixth series are the most difficult.
The first series is composed of the horses “Nimocis” owned by Salomão Amado, winner of the 2022 edition of the traditional horse races, and “Fradu Fra” owned by Arlindo Lopes.
The second series includes the horses “Passadinha” owned by Arlindo and “Criston” owned by Salomão, and the third series includes the horses “Fogo” owned by Manuel Andrade Gomes and “Rainha das Ilhas” owned by an owner from Santo Antão.
The fourth series is composed of the horses “Airley” owned by Arlindo Lopes, “Speed-boy” owned by Salomão Amado, and “Vulcão II” owned by Clóvis Teixeira.
