FCF: Management Committee considers that Federation was harmed by bad management with signs of corruption


Praia, Oct 11  (Inforpress) – The president of the Management Committee of the Cabo Verdean Football Federation, Mario “Donnay” Avelino, today accused previous management of “bad management, with signs of corruption, contributing to the deficit situation financial”.

At a press conference held today at FCF’s auditorium, “Donnay” Avelino, explained that the FCF is being investigated by the Central Section of Corruption, Criminality and Finance Investigation of the Judicial Police, about the alleged disappearance of 700 pairs of official equipment.

He revealed that this scientific police “demands as soon as possible” the 2015 activity report, the list of equipment offered by the  Lacatoni company (brand that wears the Blue Sharks) to FCF, the lease or concession contract of the commercial space celebrated between FCF and the manager / representative of Loja Azul, among other clarifications.

Donnay Avelino also blames the previous FCF administratition for tampering players’ data in order to reduce the age of Cabo Verdean athletes and is critical of what he calls “managers / entrepreneurs” and has stressed that this case is also to be investigated by the Judiciary Police.
