Praia, May 13 (Inforpress) – The Minister for Family, Inclusion and Social Development highlighted the “excellent work” the Government has done in promoting inclusion in the education system, but acknowledged that there are still many challenges to overcome.
Fernando Elísio Freire made these considerations in an interview with Inforpress, on the sidelines of the open conversation under the theme “Social programs implemented by the Government aimed at Youth and Family”, which had the participation of students, parents, guardians and teachers, representatives of ICIEG, ICCA and DGFIS and was promoted by the board of the Domingos Ramos High School.
The Minister stressed the importance of the event, taking into account the teachings of values to adolescents and a free and democratic society that has human dignity at the center.
“We wanted to show our teenagers that every human being has the right to have health, housing, electricity, water and the policies we are developing for this in a clear environment, of freedom because freedom is above all,” he said.
