Exhibition of contemporary sacred painting and Mariana caravan mark the patron saint of Praia festivities

Praia, Aug 13 (Inforpress) – An exhibition of contemporary religious painting and a Mariana caravan, which will travel, in vehicles, all the parishes and Christian communities of the capital, mark, this year, the celebration of Nossa Senhora da Graça festivities, patron saint of Praia.

According to a press release from the communication pastoral office of the Nossa Senhora da Graça parish, the above exhibition opens this Friday afternoon. However, this Thursday, at 8 pm, a musical concert called “Serenata a Maria” is scheduled at the Nossa Senhora da Graça’s Cathedral.

The note also states that these activities, which take place at the Parish Church of Praia, will be transmitted online, Pascom, in order to “avoid crowding” of people, since the country is being affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

For the 15th of August, Inforpress knows that, from 6:30 am until 3:00 pm, a Mariana caravan is planned to travel, in vehicles, to all the parishes and Christian communities of Nossa Senhora da Graça.
