Praia, Sep 10 (Inforpress) – The European Union and partners provide 7.8 million euros to the “Procultura” programme to finance projects that stimulate employment and sustainable income in the cultural sector in African Portuguese Speaking Countries and East Timor.
This initiative financed by the European Union, co-financed and managed by Camões, I.P. and co-financed by the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, according to a press release, it comprises three lots for the award of subsidies.
The first lot is intended for entrepreneurship projects in the music and performing arts sectors, to be carried out in one or more countries of the PALOP / East Timor group, for financing between 20 thousand euros and 35 thousand euros. The second tranche is assigned to international projects for the development of the music and performing arts sectors, involving two or more countries from the PALOP and East Timor and with financing between 500 thousand and one million euros.
The third tranche, on the other hand, is destined to international projects for the development of the children’s literature sector, involving two or more countries from the PALOP and East Timor, with funding between 300 thousand and 600 thousand euros.
