Volleyball: Interclube da Praia crowned national champions in both the men’s and women’s competitions

Mindelo, August 31 (Inforpress) – Interclube da Praia won the national senior volleyball championships, both women's and men's, on Sunday the 30th, held at the Oeiras Sports Complex in Mindelo, by defeating ABC and Desportivo de Fonte Francês, respectively.

In the women's category, Interclube da Praia retained its national title by defeating ABC, also from the capital, 3-0, with set scores of 25-22, 25-17, and 25-23.

With this victory, the Praia team confirmed their status as two-time national champions, in a final where they managed to beat ABC in three sets.

In the men's competition, Interclube repeated the result and defeated Clube Desportivo Fonte Francês, one of the host teams of the competition, also by 3-0, with scores of 25-19, 25-16 and 25-20.
