Uni-CV hosts international conference on innovation in island regions

Praia, Apr 16 (Inforpress) – The University of Cabo Verde (Uni-CV) will host, on May 7 and 8 in the city of Praia, the international conference BIN@Cabo Verde 2026, bringing together experts to discuss innovation and development in outermost regions.

Organized in partnership with the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto (FEUP), the event, according to the information note, will take place at the Uni-CV campus and is expected to gather policymakers, researchers, entrepreneurs and representatives of international institutions.

The conference, with free participation upon prior registration, is structured around three thematic axes — green and blue economy, (eco), entrepreneurship and digital innovation — spread over two days with different formats.

According to the note, the first day, May 7, will feature keynote speeches and panel sessions, with contributions from representatives of various international institutions, including the European Commission, the University of Madeira and the AIR Centre.
