Tarrafal de Monte Trigo: Organisation calls for continuation of the Praia Grande festival

Tarrafal de Monte Trigo, August 24 (Inforpress) – The organizers of the first edition of the Praia Grande festival, in Tarrafal de Monte Trigo, in the municipality of Porto Novo, advocated for the continuation of this event to promote the talents of Santo Antão Island.

João Crisóstomo, president of the Association of United Youth of Tarrafal (AJUT), promoter of this event, proposed to the municipal councils of Santo Antão the signing of a protocol with a view to the continuity of this festival that seeks to highlight the musical talents of this island.

As Inforpress reported, the city councils have shown every willingness to establish partnerships with AJUT in order to take this initiative forward, which aims to showcase the musical culture of São António.

On Saturday evening, Praia Grande hosted a music festival featuring only bands and artists from the three municipalities of Santo Antão, in a show that was well received by the audience.
