São Vicente: Praça Dom Luís (Dom Luís Square) hosts the 2nd edition of the “Mindel Reggae Fest”

Mindelo, May 23 (Inforpress) – Praça Dom Luís, in São Vicente, will host the 2nd edition of the “Mindel Reggae Fest” show on Saturday with the presence of national and international guests in celebration of Africa Day.

According to a press release from “Mindel Reggae Family”, the event organizer, the show will feature the participation of artists and groups such as Mindel Reggae SoundSystem, Folia Sound (Positif & Sistah Kaka) and also Bazofu dentu zona, who comes from Portugal, Sista Ju, from Brazil, and DJ Felix Berto, from Cabo Verde. 

“It will be a day of conscious music, positive vibes, warm rhythms and unity. We will celebrate the diversity and richness of our African identity with lots of reggae, art and communion,” he said.

In addition to this show, Mindel Reggae Family will hold the 4th edition of “Mindel Reggae Back to The Roots”, on Sunday, June 1st, at Ribeira Bote, dedicated to International Children's Day.
