Espargos, Dec 17 (Inforpress) – The “Semear” Association held its official public presentation this Tuesday on the island of Sal, unveiling a structured project aimed at transforming the reality of adolescent girls.

Focused on personal, social and educational development, the initiative emerges as a strategic tool to prevent early pregnancy and combat school dropout.

The association’s president and promoter, Dirce Évora, presented the project’s lines of action, stressing the need to equip young girls with tools so that they do not lose career opportunities due to unplanned pregnancy.

According to the official, the vision of “Semear” is to help girls discover their own identity.
