Espargos, July 3 (Inforpress) – The Minister of Transport announced today, on the island of Sal, the beginning of a new phase in the relationship with the unions and workers of ASA, revealing the preparation for a new cycle for civil aviation (2026-2035).
João do Carmo was speaking to the press at the end of his work agenda on the island, after a consultation meeting with the president of the Transport, Communications and Public Administration Union (Sintcap), Maria de Brito, and with the workers of the Airports and Air Security company (ASA).
This meeting followed a round of contacts held the previous day with the board of directors of ASA, where the minister had already indicated his intention to design the future of national aeronautics with sustainability and without reactive positions.
"Regardless of the agenda items, what the Government intended with this meeting was to signal the beginning of a new phase in the relationship with workers and unions," João do Carmo stated today.
