RNI staff demands to be integrated into the PCFR – director-general guarantees

City of Praia, 20 Nov (Inforpress) – The Director-General of the Registry, Notary and Identification Services, Sofia Lima, guaranteed today in Praia that workers’ demands – including the promotion lists already negotiated – “are fully acknowledged” and will be addressed through the Career, Functions and Remuneration Plan (PCFR).

At a press conference held after a three-day strike, she stated that the PCFR will be the legal instrument regulating all categories and frameworks within the profession.

She explained that the Ministry of Justice, through the Directorate-General of Registry, Notary and Identification (DGNRI), will continue to implement promotion lists for some staff, but strictly within the appropriate legal framework.

“There was no setback. The demands have been accepted and will be integrated into the PCFR, which improves conditions for all personnel, not only those included in the lists,” she stressed.
