Praia, May 26 (Inforpress) - The president of the Portuguese Pharmaceutical Association, Hélder Mota Filipe, today began a two-day official visit to Cabo Verde with the aim of strengthening cooperation at the professional level, but also in the area of medicines.
‘I hope that we can strengthen this collaboration between the two organisations, between the pharmaceutical profession in Portugal and Cabo Verde, but also in the area of medicines, that we can strengthen and develop activities that allow both access to and the quality of medicines,’ said Helder Mota Filipe after a meeting with the Portuguese ambassador.
Speaking to the press, the president emphasised that the visit was taking place in the context of the swearing-in of the new president of the Cape Verdean Order of Pharmacists and was intended to consolidate existing collaboration, as well as offering his greetings.
‘This visit comes in the context of the swearing-in of the new president of the Cape Verdean Order of Pharmacists and we took advantage of the visit to not only pay our respects, but also maintain the good collaborative relationship between our orders,’ said Hélder Mota Filipe.
