Praia: First edition of Urban Gastronomy and Wine Fair scheduled for October 9th and 10th.

Praia, 3 Sept (Inforpress) – The city of Praia will host the first edition of the Urban Gastronomy & Wine Fair on 9 and 10 October, bringing together 15 restaurants from the capital, the organisers announced today.

Carlos Morgado, administrator and manager of Infoplus, said that the event is being organised in partnership with the City Council of Praia and aims to celebrate Cape Verdean cuisine, wines and craft beverages, while also promoting culture and tourism.

She explained that the idea originated from a small tasting fair held in 2021 in the country's capital, and that she has now been challenged to resume it on a larger scale.

According to him, the first edition will have a different structure and dynamics, with the city of Praia simultaneously hosting the meeting of Portuguese-language writers.
