Lisbon, Nov 13 (Inforpress) – The Cape verdeanstartup CaboPay, participating in Web Summit 2025 in Lisbon, is showcasing an innovative proposal to facilitate international money transfers in a faster, more affordable, and lower-cost way.

Founded by CEO Igor Monteiro and Lorenzo Mello, CaboPay is a global payment platform that uses blockchain technology and stablecoins (digital currencies pegged to the US dollar) to perform international transfers at a cost of just microcents.

In an interview with Inforpress, 23-year-old co-founder and CEO Igor Monteiro explained that the solution was designed over a year ago and implemented about three months ago.
