
Lisbon, Oct 21 (Inforpress) – The trial of the Public Security Police (PSP) officer suspected of the murder of Cape Verdean Odair Moniz, which occurred in October last year, begins this Wednesday, at the Sintra Court, in the district of Lisbon (Portugal).
The trial session was initially scheduled for October 15, but was postponed due to health problems of the PSP agent's lawyer, as reported by the Lusa news agency.
In the first session, now rescheduled, five witnesses are expected to be heard, including residents of Cova da Moura who claim to have witnessed the incident.
The court will begin the evidence production phase, which is expected to last for several sessions.
