Portugal: Grace Évora Announces Career-Spanning Concert for June 5 at Coliseu dos Recreios in Lisbon

Lisbon, 18 September (Inforpress) – Cape Verdean singer, songwriter and musician Grace Évora has announced “a major career-spanning concert” for 5 June 2027 at the Coliseu dos Recreios in Lisbon (Portugal), to mark more than 30 years of her artistic career.

The announcement was made on Thursday 17th during an intimate gathering held in Corroios, in the municipality of Seixal, which brought together artists from Cabo Verde, Angola and Guinea-Bissau.

According to the artist’s press office, the event featured an informal cocktail reception, a photo shoot and a small, intimate concert, with Grace Évora performing some of the best-known songs from her career, accompanied by piano and percussion.

According to the same source, the 2027 summer concert – in which the San Vicente-born artist promises to celebrate his career and his connection with the audience – will feature guest performers, whose names will be revealed at a later date.
