Portugal: Cape Verdean “Blimundo” celebration at the Lambe-Lambe Theater Festival in Porto

Lisbon, August 27 (Inforpress) - The story “Blimundo”, a central figure of the Cape-Verdian children's imagination, will be presented in the second edition of Miudezas – Mostra de Teatro Pequeno, which is held on September 13, at Lavadouro das Fontaínhas, in the city of Porto (Portugal).

O Miudezas – Mostra de Teatro Pequeno is a festival dedicated to lambe-lambe theatre, a theatrical language in miniature format in which small stories are presented within stage boxes, for one or two spectators at a time, with a duration of five minutes.

Second to the organization, this year's edition has the participation of Cabo Verde, Brazil and Portugal, providing the public with an intimate, close and unique theatrical experience.

In this festival that “Blimundo” considered “one of the most famous stories in Cabo Verde”, is transformed into a puppet theater, created by Saaraci Coletivo Teatral, with artistic direction by João Branco.
