Parliament: MpD highlights State modernisation, economic dynamism and increased opportunities since 2016

City of Praia, Feb 11 (Inforpress) – The deputy chairman of the MpD parliamentary group, Aniceto Barbosa, stated today that reforms initiated in 2016 have modernised the State, boosted the economy, created jobs and strengthened investor confidence in Cabo Verde.

The MP of the Movement for Democracy (MpD, ruling party) made these statements during his address at the opening of the debate with the Minister for Business Development, State Modernisation and Public Administration, Eurico Monteiro.

He argued that Cabo Verde has recorded “significant progress” in State modernisation, in stimulating the business sector and in creating opportunities for young people, within the framework of reforms implemented since 2016.

According to the MP, the public policies adopted have strengthened the Public Administration, reduced job insecurity and improved service delivery to citizens, with greater stability, professionalisation and transparency.
