Praia, Jun 10 (Inforpress) – Today, the PAICV considered the leak of the national English test to be “serious” and intends to call the Minister of Education to parliament to explain what happened and what measures should be taken in terms of responsibility.
“The issue of assessment is a moment that must be fair for everyone and when faced with the evasion of national exams, and according to the National Directorate of Education, at least in three schools, it is a very serious matter”, said the spokesperson for the parliamentary group of the African Party for the Independence of Cabo Verde (PAICV-opposition), Carla Lima.
Carla Lima made these remarks at a press conference to review of her parliamentary group's day for the plenary session, whose work begins this Wednesday, with the debate with Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Olavo Correia as the main item on the agenda.
The MP assured to journalists that Amadeu Cruz must come out and clarify what happened regarding the leak of the English test, considering that this issue ‘cannot be treated lightly’.
