New ten-year concession contract between state and RTC signed within weeks - Government

Praia, 21 May (Inforpress) - The new concession contract between the state and RTC for the next ten years will be signed ‘within weeks’ and will strengthen the quality of public service provision, said the Prime Minister's Deputy Secretary of State.

‘The state, through the government, as its legitimate representative, has already reached an understanding with RTC's board of directors regarding the lines of force, regarding the clauses of the new concession contract for another ten years,’ announced Lourenço Lopes.

This information was given to the press on the sidelines of the opening of the event on ‘Cultural Diversity for Dialogue and Development’, promoted by the High Authority for Immigration in the city of Praia to commemorate World Cultural Diversity Day.

According to the Media Minister, the government has already submitted the proposal for this new contract to the Media Regulatory Authority (ARC).
