Mosteiros: Conference on modern and ecological agriculture highlights the 11th edition of the Café do Fogo Festival

Cidade de Igreja, Mosteiros, Apr 10 (Inforpress) - The conference on modern and ecological agriculture and coffee growing is the highlight of the 11th edition of the Café do Fogo Festival scheduled to take place from 25 to 27 April in Azambuja Square, Mosteiros.

The programme of the festival, which celebrates coffee culture with cultural events, lectures and coffee-related sports and competitions, has been approved by the Mosteiros city council.

As in previous editions, the 11th edition of the Café do Fogo Festival will bring together producers, experts and coffee lovers for three days with a varied programme including conferences, fairs, competitions and cultural activities.

The festival opens up space for debates on the future of coffee-growing, with the highlight being a conference on ‘modern, ecological agriculture and coffee-growing’ with the participation of the mayor of Alzira (Spain), who will discuss the role of agricultural co-operatives in promoting market agriculture.
