Mosteiros: Conference of twinned municipalities proposes to address cooperation and sustainable development

São Filipe, July 30 (Inforpress) – Cooperation and sustainable development is the theme chosen for the fifth conference of municipalities twinned with Mosteiros, which will take place on August 14, as part of the Municipality Day celebrations.

The City Council of Mosteiros, through a note published on its official website, indicates that the municipalities participating in the conference will focus on twinning and cooperation and the construction of bridges for sustainable development, with the aim of reinforcing the commitment to strengthening international cooperation and local progress.

In this edition, the event proposes a critical analysis of the path of municipalism over the 50 years of National Independence, with a special focus on the impacts of twinning and strategic partnerships on the sustainable development of territories and future prospects.

Established in 2018, the conference has promoted reflections on innovative models of decentralized cooperation in its first four editions.
