Minister admits possibility of Cabo Verde buying portable tempnograph equipment

Praia, Mar 25 (Inforpress) – The Minister of Health admitted today that Cabo Verde may acquire the portable temnograph equipment, considered a technological advance in the imaging diagnosis of brain anomalies and trauma assessment, if the doctors' evaluation is positive.

Jorge Figueiredo made this statement to the press after the opening of the technical presentation session and live demonstrations of the equipment, at the Government Palace, which was attended by experts in the field.

“This device reduces costs and hence its importance, which is why it is being analyzed and evaluated by national structures that will have to say whether it is approved. The device will allow us to know, out of every hundred patients, which ones should come to Praia for a CT scan or MRI scan,” declared the minister.

The same source highlighted that the presentation by Dilub Corporate Services, in partnership with the Brazil-Guinea Bissau Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Agriculture and Services, will also take place in Santa Catarina, São Vicente and Santo Antão.
