Hospital Agostinho Neto Administration Investigates Alleged Incident between Health Professionals

Praia, Jan 12 (Inforpress) – The Board of Directors of the Agostinho Neto University Hospital (HUAN) reaffirmed today that it is investigating the facts regarding information circulating on social media about an alleged incident between health professionals.

Speaking to Inforpress, the chairman of the board, Evandro Monteiro, said that HUAN is conducting a “thorough investigation” into the incident in order to determine what measures should be taken.

“If there are indications of non-compliance with legality, involving any act that does not align with the professionalism required, we will proceed internally and, if necessary, with the legal office to establish responsibility,” Evandro Monteiro stated.

The same source added that if the veracity of the reported facts is confirmed, namely an altercation between two nurses during working hours, HUAN will inform its supervisory authority, the Ministry of Health, to determine whether any responsibility should be applied.
