Handball: FCA President Calls for More Investment and Better Infrastructure to Develop the Sport

Praia, Sept. 2 (Inforpress) — The president of the Cape Verdean Handball Federation (FCA) said today that the sport has seen “impressive growth” in the country, but called for greater support from partners and sponsors, as well as investments in improving sports infrastructure.

In remarks to Inforpress, Angela Almeida highlighted the progress made in the sport, although she stressed the need to continue investing in its development and promotion.

“We’re already ensuring that handball is at a different level—the level we want—and we still want more; we want to reach even higher levels in Cape Verdean handball,” she said.
