Government guarantees increased support for the public media sector

Praia, July 1 (Inforpress) - The Government intends to strengthen support for public media outlets, mobilizing resources so that the sector can overcome the financial constraints that limit its sustainable development, said the Minister of Social Communication.

Clóvis Silva visited Radiotelevisão de Cabo Verde (RTC) and Inforpress, as part of a direct contact with public media outlets and entities.

In his statements to the press, he considered that the teams visited demonstrated confidence in the work they do and have "a clear vision" of the path they intend to follow, with the Government having the role of partner in this process.

"What we guarantee is support, it's assistance, so that we can conduct diplomacy to secure support, partners, resources, and means," he stated.
