Germano Almeida is set to publish his new book, *Memórias com Histórias*, by the end of the year

Praia, 24 August (Inforpress) – The Cape Verdean writer and winner of the 2018 Camões Prize, Germano Almeida, is preparing to launch a new book entitled “Memórias com Histórias”, which is expected to be available to the public by the end of this year.

At the age of 81, with more than two dozen published works to his name, the author admits that he is in no hurry and has no goals to achieve in literature.

The new book, with approximately 300 pages and currently in the pagination phase, covers significant moments in his life.

“It’s a book that spans my childhood and also my adult life. It’s structured like a kind of long interview in which, apropos of the dialogue, I describe various situations from my journey,” the writer revealed.
