Praia, Jun 10 (Inforpress) – The Government and the Cape Verdean Football Federation (FCF) started today, in Praia, a national futsal course that aims to qualify technicians and specialists, with a view to boosting the sport.
The training, level 1, is aimed at 27 trainees and has the participation of the international expert of the Swiss Futsal Refereeing Committee, Daniel Matkovic.
During the opening ceremony, the Prime Minister's Assistant Minister for Youth and Sport, Carlos Monteiro, emphasised that the training is part of a long-term strategy.
“We want technicians who are able to work in Cabo Verde, in Africa and anywhere in the world”, he stated, reinforcing that the Government is available to continue supporting this type of initiative.
