Football: Federation announces Bubista's departure and informs that his successor will be known "very soon"

Praia, August 4 (Inforpress) - The Cape Verdean Football Federation (FCF) announced today the departure of Pedro Brito, also known as Bubista, from his position as national team coach, and that the federation is already working on defining the new technical team.

In a statement, the FCF announced that, with immediate effect, Bubista has stepped down from his role as national team coach, adding that his successor will be announced “very soon”.

The federation took the opportunity to thank the coach for his “dedication, professionalism and contribution” to the development of the national team’s sporting programme, and wished him every success in his future professional endeavours.

According to the statement, the FCF Executive Committee is already preparing the coaching staff’s next steps, without, however, providing any details on the process for selecting the new head coach.
