Fogo: Director of CEFP Fogo and Brava leaves position after three years to assume presidency of IEFP

São Filipe, Mar 12 (Inforpress) - Until now the director of the Employment and Professional Training Center for Fogo and Brava (CEFP), Carlos Lopes, leaves the position today to assume the presidency of the board of directors of the Institute of Employment and Professional Training (IEFP).

The change marks the end of a management cycle that began in March 2023, a period in which Carlos Lopes led several reforms and projects in the areas of professional training, employment and entrepreneurship in the Fogo/Brava Region.

Through a communication indicating his appointment to the IEFP board of directors, Carlos Lopes stated that the decision to assume the direction of CEFP three years ago implied returning to the island of Fogo when he was performing leadership functions in the National Assembly, emphasizing that the objective was to contribute directly to the development of the Region.

During his mandate, CEFP recorded positive results in results-based management, exceeding the defined overall targets, which reached 137 percent (%).
