Country’s Growth Still Fails to Benefit Cape Verdeans or Transform the Private Sector – UCID

Mindelo, 09 Dec (Inforpress) –Today, the Independent and Democratic Cape verdeanUnion (UCID, opposition) stated in Mindelo that the country’s growth is “not visible” in the lives of Cape Verdeans and “has not transformed” the private sector.

Dora Pires, as MP expressed It during a press conference ahead of the ordinary session of the National Assembly, which begins Wednesday, the 10th, in Praia.

The agenda includes debates with the Minister of Investment Promotion and Business Development, and the Minister of State Modernization and Public Administration, among other topics.

According to the MP, the country continues to have companies struggling to establish themselves and grow, hindering the creation of more jobs and prompting young people to leave in search of better opportunities abroad.
