Praia City, Nov. 12 (Inforpress) — The Consumer Confidence Index posted a negative trend in the third quarter of 2025 compared with 2024, but remained above the series average, according to data released today by the National Statistics Institute (INE).
The report shows a slight rise in household confidence despite perceptions of worsening national economic conditions.
Over the past 12 months, surveyed families said their household economic situation had improved, even as the national outlook worsened compared to the previous year. Respondents also reported perceiving lower prices and unemployment levels than in 2024.
