Praia, Apr 8 (Inforpress) - The Minister of Infrastructure, Territorial Planning and Housing, Victor Coutinho, assured today that Cabo Verde will have its National Infrastructure Plan, ‘which has been thought of for a long time’, by the end of the year.
The assurance was given to the press during a visit to the Civil Engineering Laboratory (LEC) in Praia to follow the launch of a new machine for checking the quality of steel.
On the occasion, the minister said that at the moment all the conditions are in place to guarantee funding for both the preparation and monitoring of the plan.
"In no more than 30 days we'll launch the tender. It's a plan designed to be drawn up in six months, and because it's national in scope, there will be several stages of public consultation, of listening to the various stakeholders in the process," he explained.
