Porto Novo, Apr 20 (Inforpress) – Professor António Teixeira, from Porto Novo, is one of Cabo Verde’s representatives at the meeting of the Learning Partnership on Education Financing in Africa, which started today in Nairobi (Kenya).
António Teixeira told Inforpress that he is attending the meeting as vice-president of the National Campaign Network for Education for All (RNCEPT-CV), accompanied by two other members of the network.
The Nairobi meeting, which runs until the 25th, aims to consolidate knowledge gained across the partnership, deepen analysis of key challenges in education financing, and reflect on lessons from action research on per-student quality financing inspired by the initial Quality Student Cost (CAQi).
Developing common priorities for advocating education financing and launching the Nairobi Charter on Transformative Education Financing are also among the objectives of the event.
