Praia, August 21 (Inforpress) - The senior men's national basketball team will be presented today, Friday, in Praia, before departing for Tunisia, where they will compete in the fourth qualifying window for the FIBA ​​World Cup Qatar 2027.

In a statement sent to Inforpress, the Cape Verdean Basketball Federation (FCBB) announced that the ceremony is scheduled for 6:30 PM at the Vává Duarte Sports Pavilion.

The team has been training in Praia since the 17th, as part of their preparation for the fourth qualifying window for the FIBA ​​World Cup Qatar 2027, which takes place from August 27th to 30th in Tunis, Tunisia.

According to FCBB, the event aims to provide fans, partners, and the general public with an opportunity to show their support for the basketball players and coaching staff who will represent Cabo Verde in the international competition.
