Praia, May 12 (Inforpress) – The founder of Sports Legal warned today in Praia about the risks of exploitation, abandonment, and insecurity faced by young African footballers transferred abroad without adequate protection and support structures.

The position was expressed by Khayran Noor during a presentation dedicated to safety and responsibility in international football, as part of the 4th edition of the African Football Agents Conference (AFAC).

In her presentation, Khayran Noor highlighted the dangers associated with the transfer of young African players, arguing that many enter football systems without fully understanding the existing risks.

According to her, African families often sell assets and incur significant expenses in the hope of securing international opportunities for young athletes, only to face situations involving abandonment, lack of contracts, and absence of institutional support.
