
Lisbon, May 5 (Inforpress) – Sergio Figueira the Luso-Cape Verdean guitarist and composer will present on Saturday, the 9th, at the Cabo Verde Cultural Centre (CCCV) in Lisbon, Portugal, the album “Seréna”, as part of the project “Kriolo Sounds – Each note, a story”.
This intimate concert marks the first presentation of the album in the diaspora, following its live debut in Cabo Verde at the Mindelo Summer Jazz Festival in August 2025.
The performance, scheduled for 18:30 local time with paid admission, will feature Humberto Ramos (keyboards), Sónia Correia (vocals), Chico Fernandes (percussion) and Denys Stetsenko (violin).
According to a CCCV statement, the “Seréna” project is a conceptual album celebrating the feminine through music composed by Sérgio Figueira, inspired by the poetic and visual universe of Luso-Cape Verdean visual artist Luísa Queiroz.
