São Filipe: Santa Luzia boat wins regatta between Vale dos Cavaleiros and Fonte Bila

São Filipe, Apr 24 (Inforpress) – The boat Santa Luzia, captained by Dampa, won today the regatta between Vale dos Cavaleiros port and Fonte Bila beach as part of the Municipality and São Filipe Flag festivities.

The race featured five boats but was marked by the early withdrawal of Guardiões do Mar, which abandoned the competition shortly after the start due to a broken oar.

In a highly contested course, Santa Luzia stood out and crossed the finish line first with a few minutes’ lead, followed by the boat Tra Medo, led by Heleno.

Third place went to Tione, captained by Dario, while Rau and Manuel, under Raul’s leadership, finished in fourth position.
