Football/Cabo Verde Cup: ‘Final four’ fixtures set after Sanjoanense qualification

Praia, Apr 22 (Inforpress) – The semi-final lineup of the Cabo Verde Cup is complete following the qualification of Sanjoanense, who defeated Onze Unidos 2-1 on Tuesday, joining Mindelense, Grémio Nhagar and Sal Rei in the final stage.

The Santo Antão side secured the last available spot on Tuesday, the 21st, in a match played in Porto Novo, booking a place in the “final four” where they will face Mindelense.

The other semi-final will see Grémio Nhagar (Santiago Norte) take on Sport Sal Rei Club (Boa Vista).

In the previous round, Mindelense confirmed their favoritism by thrashing Belo Horizonte 4-1 in São Nicolau.
