Maio Island hosts annual TAOLA+ Network meeting to strengthen environmental conservation

Porto Inglês, Apr 10 (Inforpress) – Maio Island will host from the 13th to the 15th of the current month the annual meeting of the TAOLA+ Network, bringing together experts and organisations to strengthen coordination and environmental conservation strategies in the country.

The event will take place at the Noble Hall of the Municipal Assembly of Porto Inglês and will include participation from civil society organisations, public institutions, technical partners, and national and international experts linked to biodiversity conservation in Cabo Verde.

The official opening will be presided over by the UN Resident Coordinator in Cabo Verde, Patrícia de Souza.

According to the organisation, the meeting provides a platform for coordination and dialogue among sector stakeholders, focusing on aligning priorities and defining joint actions to address conservation challenges in the archipelago.
