Praia, April 9 (Inforpress) – The president of PD Consult, Paulino Dias, argued today that Cabo Verde must define "anchor values" and strengthen its economic resilience to face global unpredictability, driven by geopolitical tensions, climate change, and technological advances.
Paulino Dias was speaking to the press moments before leading the panel “Business Sciences in a World of Unpredictability” at the 3rd International Congress on Business Sciences, held at the University of Santiago.
In his analysis, the current global landscape is characterised by multiple sources of instability, the foremost of which are international geopolitical tensions, which have a “direct impact on economic dynamics and markets”.
As he explained, states are increasingly asserting their values, strategic interests and priorities, in a complex interplay that is reflected in global economic decisions and trade flows.
