The new rector of Uni-CV is betting on the Public Policy Observatory as a tool for strategic decisions

Praia, April 7 (Inforpress) - The rector of the University of Cape Verde (Uni-CV), Astrigilda Silveira, highlighted today the creation of the Public Policy Observatory as a strategic instrument to transform data into solutions and support decisions by the Government and the private sector.

This statement was made during a courtesy meeting with the President of the Republic, José Maria Neves, held to strengthen institutional ties and foster cooperation in higher education.

The new rector explained that the creation of the Public Policy Observatory will work in conjunction with the Center for Entrepreneurship and Service Provision, the Research and Business Center, and the Francophone and Employability Center.

The observatory, noted Astrigilda Silveira, will have the mission of transforming data into concrete solutions, supporting decisions by the Government, the public and private sectors in key areas such as education, employment, and innovation
