Women's Futsal: São Vicente thrashes Santiago Norte (8-1) and secures a place in the inter-island final

Espargos, April 2 (Inforpress) – The São Vicente team secured their place in the final of the Women's Inter-island Futsal Tournament – Sal 2026 on Wednesday, April 1st, by defeating their Santiago Norte counterparts 8-1 in the second semi-final match.

The match, played at the Espargos Municipal Sports Complex, was marked by the "absolute dominance" of the São Vicente team, which gave no chances to the team from the interior of Santiago.

The standout individual of the night was Aisha, who scored a hat trick, leading the Mindelo team's offense.

São Vicente's goals were scored by Aisha (3), Ruth (2), Alexandra and Jussara.
