International partnerships strengthen educational inclusion in Santa Catarina

Assomada, April 1 (Inforpress) – A delegation from Santa Catarina is on a mission to Portugal to reinforce educational inclusion, through the training of technicians, sharing of innovative practices, and strengthening institutional cooperation, aiming for better responses to students with special educational needs.

This information was given to Inforpress by the coordinator of the Multidisciplinary Support Team for Inclusive Education of the Santa Catarina Delegation (EMAEI), Ana Eloisa Moreno, who leads the delegation, and explained that this international mission with Portugal aims to strengthen technical skills and improve educational responses aimed at students with special educational needs.

This mission began on March 23rd and ends on April 6th, in a partnership that is part of the Polytechnic Institute of Leiria, through the Resource Center for Digital Inclusion, which, according to the coordinator, is providing contact with innovative methodologies and technological solutions applied to inclusion.

According to that official, the mission includes the participation of representatives from different sectors, namely the Santa Catarina Health Delegation and the Faculty of Education and Sports, which gives the project a "strategic and multidisciplinary dimension," allowing for the strengthening of the link between education and health and promoting an integrated approach to inclusion.
