
City of Praia, 17 Mar (Inforpress) – The Ministry of Communities, FACF and FORIM signed a tripartite agreement providing for the development of joint initiatives in strategic areas, aiming to strengthen institutional cooperation and reinforce the connection between the country and the Cape Verdean diaspora.
The document was signed this Monday in City of Praia by the Secretary of State for Communities, Vanuza Barbosa; the president of the Federation of Cape Verdean Associations in France (FACF), Wilson Robalo; and the vice-president of the Forum of International Solidarity Organisations from Migration (FORIM), Fernanda Semedo Cabral.
For the Secretary of State for Communities, Vanuza Barbosa, the protocol includes the promotion of joint actions in several strategic domains, particularly in the areas of education, youth, health, social development and culture.
According to her, in these sectors, the Cape Verdean diaspora has skills, experience and networks that can significantly contribute to the human and social development of Cabo Verde.
