Mobile Library project underway; first vehicle to arrive shortly – minister

Praia, Feb 12 (Inforpress) – The Minister of Culture and Creative Industries announced today that the Mobile Library project is already in the implementation phase, with the procurement process for the first vehicle completed and delivery expected shortly.

Augusto Veiga made the announcement in Praia during the press conference presenting the five annual literary awards for original works in children’s literature, poetry, short story and novel.

“Another project promoted by the Government of Cabo Verde, currently under implementation, is the Mobile Library project, as the acquisition process for the first vehicle has been completed and it should arrive shortly,” the minister said.

He added that the vehicle was purchased last year and is en route to Cabo Verde, noting that the Government intends to acquire a second vehicle later this year under the current budget.
