FCF appoints Manolo Pagani as national futsal coach

Praia City, Jan 20 (Inforpress) – The Cape Verdean Football Federation (FCF) today confirmed the appointment of Luso-Brazilian Manolo Pagani as the new national futsal coach.

According to the FCF, the appointment falls within the Strategic Plan for the Development of Futsal in Cabo Verde, with the objective of leading the national team’s debut in official competitions.

The federation also said that Manolo Pagani will promote futsal coach training programmes across all sports regions of the country, contributing to technical capacity-building and the sustainable growth of Cape Verdean futsal.

The new national coach will make his debut on the bench on the 23rd of this month, on the island of Sal, against Senegal, in a match corresponding to the preliminary round for qualification to the CAN’2026 Futsal.
