Art and solidarity mark Christmas exhibition at the Cabo Verde Red Cross

Praia City, Dec 23 (Inforpress) – The Cabo Verde Red Cross inaugurates today an exhibition of paintings entitled “Christmas in a Stroke of Solidarity” by artist Ussumane Embaló, an initiative that combines artistic expression with social solidarity in the context of Christmas celebrations.

The exhibition is held in partnership with the Ministry of Health through the National Program for the Health of the Elderly.

According to the coordinator of the Red Cross multi-purpose center, Nilda Borges, the event emerges as an innovative way of celebrating Christmas, transforming this season of sharing into a cultural and human experience, where each artwork conveys a message of hope.

For Nilda Borges, this year Christmas for the elderly has a different flavor with the exhibition of Ussumane Embaló’s paintings, who is also part of the Center. In addition to exhibiting his work, the artist has the opportunity to teach other elderly people through his painting.
