Hotel Establishments Receive 268,904 Guests in the Third Quarter of 2025 – INE  

Praia, Dec 19 (Inforpress) – Hotel establishments recorded 268,904 guests in the third quarter of 2025, representing an absolute increase of 21,811 guests compared to the same period of the previous year (8.8%), according to the National Statistics Institute (INE).

According to INE statistics on guest flows, the total number of overnight stays reached 1,459,990, corresponding to a positive year-on-year variation of 4.6%.

The average length of stay, calculated based on the ratio between overnight stays and guests, decreased from 5.5 nights in the third quarter of 2024 to 5.4 nights in the third quarter of 2025, representing a reduction of 0.1 nights per visitor.

Hotels accounted for 85.1% of total guests and 86.5% of overnight stays, while apartment hotels were the second most sought-after category, representing 11.4% of both guests and overnight stays.
